Farewell South Africa!

in: General

The World Cup of 2010 in South Africa came to an end today. The final game was won by Spain 1 - 0 over the Netherlands. The lone goal came in overtime after a tough battle. Spain deserved this win and is now a World Champion.

Hope everybody enjoyed the spectacle, and why not? Plenty of great games, fantastic stadium atmosphere and drama. Who can forget the vuvuzelas, players’ joy and tears and, of course, Paul the octopus, who predicted winners and losers better than any analyst. So, farewell South Africa and looking forward to Brazil 2014!

    Mike and fellow traders,

Yes , I hope everyone enjoyed the games, the atmosphere at the stadiums was fantastic, nothing compared to watching the games on TV, unfortunately I didn’t get the ticket to the final. Well done to Spain , they deserved to win.

To everyone who got a chance to visit South Africa, I hope you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to your next visit.

Mike, let me know if you want a vuvuzela and I can ship it for you, drop me a line with your address to my gmail address. Back to trading eyeing GBPNZD and CADCHF.

Yes looking forward to Brazil 2014! I’ll be trading full-time by then.

    Hi Alto,

Thanks for the offer. Tournament was great but like any good thing it came to an end. Good luck with trading full time and sooner than 2014!

There were some really good games, too bad it had to come to an end. I thought Germany was the best team, but they were afraid of Spain for some reason. I intend to be in Brazil in 2014!!

Yes, the Germany – Spain game was a surprise. Seems like the Germans decided to adjust to Spain, rather than play their game and have Spain adjust to them. Too bad. While I wanted Holland to win it all, must admit that I also found Germany most deserving to win. They were simply fun to watch and had results, too.

    Mike
I had a great time in South Africa following the football, apart from watching a dreadful England vs Algeria game I loved it.

Being +1 hr from UK, cape Town has to be THE place to live and trade hasn’t it ?

    Best of luck Trading

Never been there, but heard good things. Did you see other England games also?
